Kevlar woofer:
M-Audio's BX5 D2 monitors feature M-Audio's latest generation of kevlar woofers. Kevlar is more rigid and lighter than comparable paper cones could ever hope to be. That means tighter bass and more accurate mids from the BX5 D2s.
Redesigned amplifier:
The M-Audio BX5 D2 monitors sport 70 watts of power supplied by M-Audio's redesigned amplifier. The new amp uses a Class A/B design for maximum efficiency while providing highly dynamic playback.
