ART Pro T8 – 8-Channel Transformer/Isolator
Overview
Eliminate hum, ground loops, and unwanted system noise with the ART Pro T8, a professional 8-channel passive transformer isolator designed for studios, live sound, broadcast, AV installations, and touring applications. Featuring eight premium 1:1 audio isolation transformers, the T8 electrically separates connected audio systems while preserving signal integrity, delivering clean, transparent audio without requiring external power. It is designed to safely isolate signal grounds between devices, helping eliminate buzz caused by ground loops while maintaining excellent frequency response and low distortion.
Whether you’re connecting FOH consoles, recording interfaces, powered speakers, amplifiers, broadcast equipment, video systems, or computer-based audio workstations, the T8 provides a reliable, professional solution for clean signal transmission.
With XLR, 1/4-inch TRS, and RCA connectors available simultaneously on every channel, the ART Pro T8 easily integrates into virtually any analog audio system. Its rugged 1U steel rack chassis and passive design make it equally suited for permanent installations, rental inventories, and demanding touring environments.
Key Features
Eliminate Ground Loops and Hum
Eight high-performance isolation transformers provide complete galvanic isolation between connected systems, dramatically reducing hum, buzz, and electrical interference.
Transparent Audio Performance
Precision 1:1 transformers deliver an exceptionally flat frequency response from 10Hz–50kHz, preserving the full detail of your audio without coloration.
Passive Operation
No external power supply or batteries are required, making the T8 completely reliable and maintenance-free.
Universal Connectivity
Each channel includes:
- Balanced XLR Input & Output
- Balanced 1/4” TRS Input & Output
- RCA Input & Output
This allows seamless integration with professional, consumer, and installed audio systems.
Flexible Patching & Signal Splitting
Because all connectors are directly paralleled, the T8 can also function as a signal tap or passive signal splitter for many applications.
Reversible Rack Ears
Mount the XLR or TRS/RCA connections on the front of your rack for cleaner cable management in different installation environments.
Built for Professional Installations
The rugged all-steel 1U chassis is engineered for studios, live sound, broadcast facilities, commercial AV installations, houses of worship, education, and rental systems.
