Your Entire Analog Mix & Master Chain — In One Box

What if your mix-bus EQ, compressor, saturation, clipper, stereo width processor, gain staging, and external hardware inserts could all live inside one fully analog, digitally recallable processor?

Meet the WesAudio ngOmniBox — a next-generation 2-channel analog mix and mastering processor built to put an entire premium analog finishing chain at your fingertips.

Designed for mixing engineers, mastering engineers, producers, and hybrid studios, the ngOmniBox combines passive analog EQ, stereo bus compression, analog saturation, clipping, stereo width processing, input/output gain control, and flexible hardware inserts in a single 2U rackmount unit.

And here's the game changer: while your audio remains in the analog domain, ngOmniBox gives you the convenience of digital recall, DAW automation, plug-in control, A/B/C comparison, USB, and Ethernet connectivity.

In other words, you get the sound and hands-on experience of analog hardware — without giving up the workflow you've come to expect from plug-ins.

One Analog Processor. An Entire Mix-Bus Workflow.

Instead of building a mix or mastering chain from multiple pieces of hardware, the ngOmniBox places the essential stages of that workflow into one integrated analog processor.

Start by setting your input gain and filtering unnecessary low frequencies. Shape the tonal balance with the passive EQ. Add cohesion with stereo bus compression. Introduce harmonic density with analog saturation. Control peaks with the dedicated clipper. Then fine-tune the stereo image before setting your final output level.

Don't need every stage?

No problem.

The processing sections can be used independently, allowing the ngOmniBox to go from subtle mix-bus enhancement to comprehensive analog mastering processing.

Passive Analog EQ — Broad, Musical Tone Shaping

Great mix-bus EQ isn't necessarily about surgical correction. It's about making small moves that make the entire record feel better.

The ngOmniBox features a fully analog passive EQ designed for broad, musical tonal shaping. Its two-band architecture makes it easy to enhance the overall character of a mix without turning your mastering chain into a complicated corrective EQ session.

Even better, you can change where the EQ sits in the processing chain.

Choose EQ → COMP when you want your tonal adjustments to influence the compressor's response, or switch to COMP → EQ when you'd rather compress first and shape the final tonal balance afterward.

That routing flexibility gives you two distinctly useful workflows at the push of a control.

Stereo Bus Compression — Give Your Mix the Glue

A great bus compressor doesn't just reduce dynamic range. It can make individual elements feel like they're part of the same record.

The ngOmniBox's dedicated analog stereo bus compressor is designed for mix cohesion, dynamics control, peak management, and final shaping.

You get control over the essential compression parameters, including Attack, Release, Ratio, Threshold, and Make Up, along with a Mix control for parallel compression.

Selectable compressor timing and ratio options range from a fast 0.1ms attack to a slow 30ms attack, with release options from 100ms to 1.2 seconds and ratio choices extending from 1.5:1 to 10:1.

A selectable 60Hz / 90Hz / 150Hz sidechain high-pass filter can reduce how strongly low-frequency energy drives the compressor — particularly useful when working with kick- and bass-heavy material.

Dedicated Analog Saturation — Add Density and Character

Sometimes a mix doesn't need more EQ or more compression.

It needs character.

The ngOmniBox includes an all-new dedicated analog saturation circuit that operates independently of its EQ and compressor sections.

Use it to introduce harmonic richness, density, and analog character, or blend it more subtly when you simply want the mix to feel a little more finished.

With dedicated Drive and Mix controls, you can determine both how hard the saturation circuit is driven and how much of the processed signal is blended into your mix.

Analog Clipper — Control Peaks and Push Loudness

Peak control is a critical part of many modern mixing and mastering workflows.

The ngOmniBox includes a dedicated analog clipping stage for controlling transients before the signal leaves the analog chain.

Use it subtly to shave problematic peaks or push it harder when you're looking for greater perceived loudness and more assertive transient shaping.

Because the clipping circuit is independently controllable, you decide exactly when it becomes part of the processing chain.

Stereo Width Processing — Make the Mix Feel Bigger

Width can transform the perceived scale of a mix — but uncontrolled stereo enhancement can also create problems.

The ngOmniBox gives you a dedicated stereo width processing section for precisely controlling the stereo image.

A dedicated high-pass filter for the Side signal gives you additional control over which frequencies are affected, helping you manipulate width while maintaining greater control over the low end.

Whether you're making a mix subtly wider or refining the stereo image during mastering, the controls are built directly into the analog processing workflow.

Bring Your Favorite Outboard Gear Along

Owning an all-in-one processor doesn't mean you have to abandon the rest of your rack.

WesAudio equips the ngOmniBox with dedicated analog insert points at both ends of the processing chain.

The Input Insert is electronically balanced and positioned after Input Trim and before the input HPF, allowing you to integrate external analog hardware early in the chain.

The Output Insert is also electronically balanced and sits immediately before Output Trim. Better still, it can operate in either conventional Stereo or Mid-Side (M/S) mode.

That means your favorite external EQ, compressor, saturator, or other analog processor can become part of the ngOmniBox workflow instead of sitting outside it.

Analog Sound Meets Total Digital Recall

This is where the ngOmniBox becomes much more than a conventional analog mastering processor.

The signal processing remains analog, but its parameters can be controlled digitally.

Integrate ngOmniBox with your DAW and you gain plug-in control, session recall, and automation of analog parameters.

That means you can work with real analog processing while enjoying a workflow much closer to using a plug-in.

Open a session.

Recall your settings.

Automate parameters.

Continue working.

For busy mix and mastering engineers constantly moving between sessions and revisions, that can fundamentally change how practical high-end analog hardware is in everyday production.

A/B/C Comparison — Make Better Processing Decisions

Tiny adjustments matter on a mix bus or mastering chain.

The ngOmniBox's A/B/C comparison system lets you compare three different processing configurations, while the integrated LCD provides precise parameter visualization.

Try one version with heavier compression.

Another with more saturation.

A third with wider stereo processing.

Then compare them without manually writing down and rebuilding every setting.

It's a simple feature that can become invaluable when making critical mix and mastering decisions.

Why the WesAudio ngOmniBox Belongs on Your Mix Bus

The WesAudio ngOmniBox isn't simply another stereo processor. It's an attempt to consolidate the workflow engineers traditionally build from several pieces of analog outboard gear into one flexible, recallable system.

You get passive EQ for tonal shaping, stereo bus compression for glue, saturation for harmonic density, analog clipping for peak control, width processing for stereo enhancement, and flexible insert points for bringing additional hardware into the chain.

Then WesAudio adds the part traditional analog hardware often lacks: digital recall and DAW automation.

The result is a serious analog mix and mastering processor built for the realities of a modern hybrid studio.

Analog where sound matters. Digital where workflow matters. One box to finish the mix.
